Week of May 16th, I.H. N. (Interfaith Hospitality Network) Our host church, Shawnee United Methodist Church, will have guests the week of May 16. We will serve dinner on that Monday and Tuesday. We are taking donations of paper goods and cleaning supplies. Volunteers are also needed to help serve meals and possibly stay the night. Contact Cheryl Willis if you can help! May 18, L.E.O.S. (Let's Eat Out Singles) L.E.O.S. will meet at 6:00 pm , May 18, at The Olive Garden, located on 95th Street, east of Metcalf on the North side of the street. Contact Diane Koken, to make a reservation. May 22, Simple Abundance Workshop Join us as we learn the six principles of Simple Abundance through the Sarah Ban Breathnach book “Simple Abundance: A Daybook of Comfort and Joy”. May 23, Pentecost and Potluck Pentecost is the celebration of God sending the Holy Spirit—our Counselor and Teacher--to be with and IN each of us!! What a gift!! The Servanthood Committee would like to remind you that on Sunday, May 23rd, we will receive our Pentecost Offering.. To show your support, please wear Red to church on Pentecost!
